I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (C006159) in the state of North Carolina. I received my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and completed my undergraduate education in Psychology from East Carolina University.
I provide individual counseling for teenagers, young adults and adults, and provide family counseling as well. My clinical expertise includes eating disorders and body image, depression and mood disorders, anxiety and panic disorders, grief and loss, women’s issues, relationship issues, and life transitions. I recognize that it takes courage to seek help. My philosophy is to collaborate and utilize your strengths to help you make the change you are looking for. I believe that the counseling process is unique to the individual and exists to provide support and healing during the situations and circumstances we go through. Counseling can provide you with the encouragement and support to move in new directions by working to reduce and transform unhealthy patterns and behaviors. Through this process, growth, healing and change can occur to assist you in realizing and accomplishing your goals. |
